Event to Feature Zimbabwean Finance Minister Tendai Biti on Unity Government, Key Challenges
Zimbabwean Finance Minister Tendai Biti will provide an inside look at how the country's new national unity government aims to address the country's significant challenges at an event in Washington on Monday, April 27.
Freedom House and the National Endowment for Democracy invite journalists to cover the forum which will feature two sessions. Biti, a high-ranking leader in Zimbabwe's Movement for Democratic Change, will headline the first session (11 a.m.-12 p.m.) followed by a lunch. The second session (12:30 p.m.-2 p.m.) will feature analysis from four Zimbabwe experts on topics including rural development, labor and civil society.
