Freedom House Condemns Suspension of Cambodian NGO
August 22, 2011
Freedom House and other civil society and private sector groups released a statement today condemning the Cambodian government’s arbitrary suspension of non-governmental organization Sahmakum Teang Tnaut (STT). The 130 signatories demanded an immediate reversal of STT’s suspension on the grounds that it was a violation of freedom of expression and association, and an assault on human rights.
