Freedom House Testifies about Threats to Internet Freedom

Recent attempts by Iran and China to block citizens’ access to key websites provide stark reminders of the growing threats to Internet freedom, according to Daniel Calingaert, Freedom House deputy programs director. Calingaert urged the U.S. government to do more to protect the Internet in testimony before the Tom Lantos Human Rights Commission on June 18.
