Freedom on the Net 2011

According to a new Freedom House report, as internet usage has grown exponentially in the past five years, cyberattacks, politically motivated censorship, and government control over internet infrastructure are among the diverse and growing threats faced by internet users. The findings from the report will be discussed today at 6:30 PST at an event at the World Affairs Council in San Francisco. The event, sponsored by Yahoo, will include panelists from Google, Mozilla and Electronic Frontier.
