Jorge Quiroga was the 76th President of Bolivia. He assumed this position after serving as Vice President. Since leaving office, he has been the primary leader in the Bolivian opposition and ran for the presidency in his own right in 2005 and 2014. He is currently serving as President of FUNDEMOS, a Bolivian public policy think tank. He is a member of the Inter-American Dialogue and serves as the Vice President of the Club of Madrid, an organization comprised of more than one hundred former presidents and prime ministers from around the world and created for the promotion of democracy.
