Cultivated from years of travel and interviews, The Next Founders lifts the veil on liberal reformers from Iraq, Iran, Syria, Egypt, Palestine, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. Despite their dissimilar backgrounds and religious beliefs, each of them has devoted their lives to liberal reforms—and each has paid a high price for their bravery. The Next Founders explodes the myth that Democracy is incompatible with the Middle East and proves thatchange in the Middle East can and will come from within.
