Vice President, Development
Brian Hill joined Freedom House in October 2018 and serves as the organization's vice president for development.
With more than 15 years of nonprofit fundraising experience, he was most recently Officer on the Philanthropic Partnerships team at The Pew Charitable Trusts generating support for all of the organization's environmental and domestic policy programs. Before Pew, he worked at the German Marshall Fund of the United States raising support from U.S. and European governments, corporations, and foundations. His early career included positions with The Nature Conservancy, and the Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts.
Brian has a B.A. from the University of North Carolina where he studied history, business, and music.
