Gina S. Lentine
Senior Program Officer for Europe and Eurasia
Gina Lentine serves as Senior Program Officer on the Europe & Eurasia programs team at Freedom House. She oversees the organization’s in-country democracy and human rights efforts in Eastern Europe, Turkey, and the South Caucasus.
Lentine has a decade of career experience covering democracy and rights in Europe and Eurasia. Prior to Freedom House, Lentine worked at the National Endowment for Democracy (NED) and Open Society Foundations (OSF). She was a graduate fellow at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, DC, and the International Cultural Center in Krakow, Poland. Lentine holds a Master of Arts in Eurasian, Russian, and East European Studies from the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University, and a Bachelor of Arts from Wellesley College. She speaks Russian, Polish, French, and Spanish, and has a working knowledge of Ukrainian.
