Freedom House issued the following statement in response to the criminal conviction and imprisonment of civic activists Serikzhan Mambetalin and Ermek Narymbaev for “inciting social hatred.” 

The property damage at Human Right House is part of the series of violent attacks against journalists, politicians, academics and open-minded government officials in Serbia.
