The Declaration on the Citizens' Rights and Fundamental Principles of San Marino Legal Order protects freedom of expression. The press operates freely; there were no reported violations of press freedom during 2003. A wide range of Italian media is available in San Marino. Two major national dailies circulate: La Tribuna Sammarinese and San Marino Oggi. The main broadcaster is San Marino RTV, a state-run TV and radio station. The only private radio station is Radio Titano.
