Masha Donnelly
Senior Program Officer, Europe and Eurasia
Masha Donnelly is a Senior Program Officer working on Europe and Eurasia at Freedom House, where she manages programs focused on Russia and Belarus, supporting human rights defenders, countering transnational repression, and advocating for political prisoners.
Masha has worked in the national security and human security sectors for more than a decade in roles spanning program management, research, and policy development. She previously worked at the Department of Defense where she supported U.S. security cooperation programs throughout the Eurasia region. Before that, she worked at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), where her research and publications analyzed the evolution of transnational threats.
Born in Russia, Masha holds a BA in International Relations and an MA in International Affairs.
