United States: Transgender Persons to Serve Openly in Military

Washington

“The United States will be setting a good example for other nations by removing discriminatory rules against transgender people serving opening in the military,” said Daniel Calingaert, executive vice president.  “Gays, lesbians, and bisexuals already openly serve in the U.S. military, a right that should also extend to transgender people in all work places.”
