Freedom in the World 2023–24 Junior Fellowship
Location: Remote (New York, NY)
Can I apply if I recently completed a master's program?
No. Applicants are eligible if they have completed their undergraduate studies between fall 2022 and June 2023. If this is applicable to your situation, then you may apply to the program.
Do I have to relocate to New York for the program?
Freedom House’s Research and Analysis division is located in New York City, and Freedom House headquarters is located in Washington, DC. Junior Fellows are highly encouraged to be based in either New York or Washington, but remote work is also possible.
Do I need work authorization in the US to participate?
You must possess US work authorization that is valid through the end of the program in order to be eligible. Noncitizens may apply if they possess the appropriate work authorization.
