The Carnegie Council for Ethics in International Affairs will host a discussion, the latest in their Values & Interests series, featuring a fireside chat and Q&A between Freedom House CEO Jamie Fly and Carnegie Council President Joel Rosenthal.
Together, Rosenthal and Fly will interrogate why democracy is both a moral and a political principle, the regression of freedom globally, and what can be done to counter the new wave of autocrats and illiberal actors.
The event will feature a 60-minute panel discussion and audience Q&A.
