This year's Roundtable on Dissent in China will convene experts and activists to discuss how people in the People’s Republic of China engage in public acts of protest despite growing restrictions and considerable risks to their safety.

The Roundtable on Dissent in China: Youth, Feminist, and Online Activism under Authoritarianism will focus in particular on dissent among youth, feminists, the LGBT+ community, and Tibetans, as well as how digital spaces are used for activism.
