Jacquie Marte

Program Manager, Latin American and the Caribbean Programs

Jacquie Marte currently serves as a Program Manager for Latin America and the Caribbean at Freedom House, a role she took on in 2023. In this position, she oversees initiatives aimed at promoting human rights, fundamental freedoms, and democracy throughout the region. Before joining Freedom House, Jacquie worked as a Program Manager for Latin America and the Caribbean at the National Democratic Institute, where she supported citizen participation programs with a focus on freedom of expression, democracy, and women's rights.

Jacquie's professional journey also includes five years dedicated to international education in Latin America and the Caribbean at Creighton University, where she coordinated community development efforts, including infrastructure, health, and sanitation access projects. She holds a master’s degree in diplomacy and international relations, and a master’s degree in strategic communications from Seton Hall University. She also earned an MBA from Creighton University.
