Matt Hooper

Matt Hooper is the Director of Digital Communications at Freedom House, leading and implementing strategy for the organization's websites, social media channels, graphic design, and publishing. Previously, Matt served in a similar capacity for consulting firms based in Dallas, Texas: Cyber Defense Labs and Saxony Partners. He served as a communications and marketing executive for the American Heart Association for 7 years, where he was recognized as a top performer in communications management and fundraising. A native of Birmingham, Ala., Matt graduated from the University of Alabama with a degree in journalism and political science. He's an avid reader and runner now based in Northern Virginia.
