Key Initiatives
Creative Activism Workshops
Freedom House invited Belarusian activists and interested citizens to participate in a two-day Creative Activism workshop. The online workshop introduced practical tools in problem analysis, campaign planning, volunteer recruitment, citizen organizing, message development and media outreach, and methods of civic engagement, with emphasis on effective communication with target audiences. Successful workshop graduates had the opportunity to apply for funding to implement their own local initiatives.
Freedom House’s work was severely impacted by the US freeze on foreign aid earlier this year. Thanks to supporters like you, our efforts to expand and defend freedom continue. We need your support today to help sustain our work in 2026 and beyond. Donate now.
