The event will feature remarks from David J. Kramer, Executive Director, George W. Bush Institute and Vice President, George W. Bush Presidential Center, a presentation of key report findings, and a panel discussion on the implications of those findings and the state of democracy in the region.

Speakers include:

  • Nicole Bibbins Sedaca, Executive Vice President, Freedom House
  • David J. Kramer, Executive Director, George W. Bush Institute and Vice President, George W. Bush Presidential Center
  • Mike Smeltzer, Report Co-Author and Senior Research Analyst, Europe and Eurasia
  • Edit Zgut-Przybylska, Ph.D., Assistant Professor at IFIS PAN
  • Oana Popescu-Zamfir, Director at GlobalFocus Center
